Brook A. Parker

Brooke A. Parker, "The greatest Mom in the whole wide world," 63, of 831 Clearview Ave., Ephrata, died Friday at her son's home.

Born in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Anderson and Ruth Mannie Anderson, Grahamsville, NY.

She was a graduate of Tri Valley High School, Grahamsville. Brooke worked for Doneckers, Ephrata for 18 years as a fashion coordinator and a switchboard operator. While living in New York, she was involved with the volunteer ambulance association and she was the editor of the Townsman newspaper. Brooke was an Avon representative and an avid reader. She was the wife of the late Patrick Parker who died in December, 1993.

Surviving in addition to her stepmother, Virginia Anderson, is a son Dr. David S. (Anne) Parker and family, Stevens; a daughter, Wendy A. (Philip J.) Leone and family, New Paltz, NY; a son, Michael A. Parker and family, Roswell, GA; a stepsister, Terry (James) Richardson, Grahamsville; and a stepbrother, Donald (Mary) Osterhoudt, Grahamsville.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Brooke's Life Celebration in a memorial service from the Grahamsville Methodist Church, on Saturday August 6, 2005 at 2:30 p.m.

Interment will follow in the Grahamsville Cemetery.
