Daisy Monroe Obituary
Daisy B. Monroe, a lifelong area resident, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Schervier Pavilion in Warwick. She was 94.
The daughter of the late John and Sarah Conklin, she was born on June 9, 1913 in Sloatsburg. She was the widow of Elven Monroe. Daisy was a retired cafeteria cook for North Main Elementary School in Monroe.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean Reynolds and her husband, Walter of Monroe; three grandchildren: Peggy Griffin, Karen Scelfo, and Walter Reynolds, Jr.; and six great-grandchildren, Meghan Griffin, Sean Griffin, David O'Donnell, Cody Reynolds, Matthew Scelfo, and Robert Grahm. She was predeceased by her sister, Peggy Youmans.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Cemetery of The Highlands in Highland Mills.
Memorial contributions may be made to Monroe Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc., P.O. Box 841, Monroe, New York 10949.
