Daniel Melchiorre Obituary
Daniel C. Melchiorre, a retired employee of Phillips Fuel Company in Hackensack, NJ, died on Friday, December 11, 2009 in Orange Regional Medical Center in Goshen. He was 76.
The son the late Andrew and Antoinette Padovano Melchiorre, he was born on January 7, 1933 in Hackensack, NJ. He was the widower of Ann Melchiorre. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Sydney, NY.
Survivors include his son, Michael Melchiorre and his wife, Maureen of Hillsdale, NJ; his daughter, Nancy Tetz and her husband, Joseph Tetz, Jr. of Chester, NY; his grandchildren: Daniel, Joseph, III, Maggie, Justin, and Eric; his sister, Mary Ann Flora of Hackensack, NJ; his nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Andrew Melchiorre, Jr.
Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, December 15. from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Lippincott Funeral Home, Inc., 92 Main St., Chester, NY.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 16, at 10 a.m., at St. Columbia R.C. Church, High St., Chester, NY Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NY.
