Cathy, Ed, Rob & Brian:
Many of my childhood thoughts as a member of the working family for Big Ed comes to mind. Ed was one of my strong male influences which shaped me to be the man I am today. My work ethic and desire for serving others was greatly influenced by Ed. I live my moments with such influences greatful to Ed for what he taught me. His presence was his personality. And his personality was his presence. I am blessed to have been part of the Franz family. But greatly blessed to be received by Ed & Cathy as an addition to 3 wonderful sons. They are my brothers because Ed received me as such.
My thoughts are with you Cathy, Ed, Rob and Brian.
With all my love and prayers,
Billy

Dear, Cathy,Eddie,Robert and Brian

maria and I are sorry for your loss. A legend in his time is a understatment. Eddie was a friend and a mentor. I learned alot about the beverage bussines just being around him. Maria and I also have fond memories of our trips that we took togeather to Long Island. Although getting down there always seemed to get of route.I really liked the picture you had in the paper, that about said it all. I'm sure there was a little water in that glass of scotch. We raise our glasses to Eddie, may to good lord take him by his side and watch over us all, to MONTY HALL LETS MAKE A DEAL! Salute and may god bless you.
