Frank Ciardullo Obituary

Frank J. Ciardullo, a retired heavy equipment operator for the Town of Clarkstown in New City, N.Y. and 12 year area resident, died Thursday, August 3, 2006 at his home. He was 76.

The son of the late Phillip Ciardullo and Frances Ferenda Ciardullo, he was born in New Rochelle, N.Y. on January 30, 1930. He was the widower of Barbara A. Jantz Ciardullo.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. serving during the Korean War. He was a life member of the Nanuet Fire Department in Nanuet, N.Y. and a member of Sacred Heart Church in Monroe. He was also a member of the Monroe Jolly Senior Citizens and the Knights of Columbus Council #2079 in Monroe.

Survivors include his daughter, Diane Maneri and her husband, Steve of Monroe; brothers, Anthony Ciardullo of Harrison and Dominick Ciardullo of Peekskill; sisters, Phyllis Ricci of Harrison and Carmela Struscz of Mahopac, N.Y.; grandchildren, Christine Farrell and her husband, Brian, Lisa Maneri and Steven Maneri; nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Monday, August 7, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe, with the Rev. Jeffrey Maurer officiating.

Burial will be in Seamanville Cemetery, Monroe.

Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, Greater N.Y.C. Office, 333 7th Avenue-17th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
