Frank Elvis Vera of Walden, NY passed away suddenly on January 11, 2021. He was born on September 18, 1997 in Queens, NY, the son of Jose and Mercedes Vera. He was 23 years old. Frank was a graduate of Valley Central High School and attended Herkimer college. He will be dearly missed by his beloved family and friends. Aside from this parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Carlota Ruiz; sisters, Andrea and Carla Vera; nieces, Julieta and Alexa; and nephew, Nicolas.
Lord, we don't understand why our Frank should suddenly be removed from us through a sudden, unexpected death – but Lord we trust you to soothe away the hurt in time – for shall not the God of all the earth do right…. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday January 14, 2021 at the Gridley Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY 12586. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday January 15, 2021 at St. Patrick's Church, 55 Grand St. Newburgh, NY 12550. Burial will be at Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Rte 52 Walden, NY.
