Hal, You were always the "sunshine" where ever we saw you (at the art shows down by the river in Newburgh, at the grocery store, at the video store). Your legacy of love, creativity and energy will be missed. We have all lost you here on earth but know we carry you in our hearts forever! Love, Johnnie Lou and Bob Getz

For those who didn't know Hal, he was a truly unique and wonderful individual. He lived life with gusto... painting, creating, making things beautiful...laughing... everything. One of his greatest qualities was his ability to focus on the things in life that were positive... beauty, laughter, celebrating the things that were good. I don't know too many people who celebrated life the way Hal did when he was here. I miss him so much, and will never forget his ability to appreciate life's beauty.
