Just became aware of John´s passing. He was one of the brightest lights in our journey to Liberty more than twenty years ago. We loved talking to him and sharing laughter at the gym. What a wonderful man ! Our thoughts and prayers are with you Kelly and Keljon. We know he is with Jesus now and very happy!

John was my first babysitter when I was a child, he helped me get my tooth out when it was too loose for me , he stopped my tears when I was 5 . John also saved my brothers life when he was choking on ice and turned blue . Weve never lost contact over the years , and I will always miss him, running into him we never ran out of things to talk about . My sincerest condolences to Kelly and keljon, he was a hero in my eyes . Love you !

With John there was no conversation with out God in it, and we are grateful and blessed for that. You are missed very much.

I loved John with all my heart. He was the first friend I met when I came upstate in 1967. Everytime we saw each other we would talk about old times, just like they were yesterday. He will be truly missed. Johns calling in life was to teach.
I will always to continue to love my dear friend.
God has a plan for you.

I have never known a day that John was not in my life. True friend for over 60 years. We grew up and lived life with each other and he was always there. He is truly missed and I know he is having a wonderful talk with our lord and is asking so many questions. Farewell my friend.
