Lawrence J. "Larry" Thompson of Port Jervis, NY and lifetime resident of the area, died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, Newburgh. He was 65.
He was born March 22, 1955 in Monticello, NY, the son of the late Frank L. Thompson and the late Theresa Carrino.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Lynn Hull on July 28, 2020.
Lawrence worked as a Taxi Driver all his life and most recently for Bucky's Taxi in Port Jervis, NY.
Surviving are two sons: Lawrence J. Thompson, Jr. of Sparrow Bush, NY, and Thomas L. Thompson and his wife, Dawn of Matamoras, PA; two daughters:Jeannette Crane and her husband, Jeremy, and Margaret Flood, both of Port Jervis, NY; stepson: C.J.; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. A burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.
