LINDA TWYMAN Obituary
Newburgh, NY
Linda Lee Twyman, 68, a 38-year resident of Newburgh, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus. She was 68.
The daughter of Ethel Mae Singleton Pinckney and the late John H. Pinckney, she was born May 28, 1949 in Ridgeville, SC.
She was a retired security officer and member of Majestic Club of Newburgh.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Twyman, at home; mother, Ethel Mae Singleton Pinckney of Moncks Comer; three sons: Edward A. Twyman of Ridgeville, SC, Timothy N. Twyman of North Hollywood, CA, and Raymond E. Twyman, Jr. of Newburgh; three daughters: Tashunda Twyman and husband, Julius Jordan and Thana Twyman, all of Newburgh and Kelly Edwards and husband, Glenn of Poughkeepsie; brother, John Lee Pinckney of Ridgeville, SC; six sisters: Janet Pinckney of Summerville, SC, Susan Washington and husband, James of Goose Creek, SC, Belinda Pinckney and husband, Avan of Summerville, SC, Barbara Pinckney and Martha Pinckney of Ridgeville, SC and Mary Pinckney of Charleston, SC; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 27, from 6-7 p.m. at Living in Jesus Ministry Church, 119 Reverend James L. Best Place, Newburgh. Services will follow at 7 p.m. at the church. Pastor Herman Hubbard will officiate.
Interment will be Saturday, July 31, at Hill Crest Cemetery, Summerville, SC.
