Longina Romaniuk of Suffern, NY, formerly of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. She was 93.
The daughter of Stanlislaw Olejniczak and Maria Wolnowska, she was born on May 8, 1927 in Zastawie, Poland.
She is survived by her daughter, Christina Romaniuk of Suffern, NY; two sons, Stefan Romaniuk (Christine) of Boston, MA, and John Romaniuk (Susan Sheridan) of Loudonville, NY; two grandchildren, Jessica Dekermanji (Anthony) and Justin Romaniuk; two great-grandchildren, Matteo and Olivia; three sisters: Eileen Stelmaszczyk (Marion) of Kinnelon, NJ, Irene Calderon (Tony) of TN, Mary Coleman (Robert) of Florida, NY; three brothers: Mickey Olejniczak, John Olejniczak (Martha), and Zygmund Olejniczak (Lona), all of Florida, NY; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jozef Romaniuk; stepmother, Adela Draszek; two brothers, Stanley and Tadeusz Olejniczak.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 5th at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY 10921. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 6th at St. Joseph Church, 20 Glenmere Ave., Florida, NY 10921.
