Martha M. Wilcox of Roscoe, NY, a Registered Nurse for Sullivan County Public Health Nursing and a longtime area resident, died Friday, June 7, 2019 at her home. She was 57.
The daughter of Mary Ann Seitz Pike and the late John T. Pike, she was born March 20, 1962 in Howard Beach, NY.
Martha was a member of the Board of Directors of the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) and had previously worked as a Corrections Officer for the Sullivan County Sheriffs Department. She enjoyed auctions and working on her hobby farm.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel L. Wilcox, Sr.; two sons, Daniel L. Wilcox, Jr. and Shawn T. Wilcox and her future daughter-in-law, Michaela Schaefer; her mother, Mary Ann Pike; one brother, Charles Pike and his wife, Jo Anne; one sister, Debbie Pike-Thomas and her husband, Lincoln; and two nieces.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 12 in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made in Martha's name to Roscoe Cares C/O Mrs. Debbie Hendrickson, 154 Rockland Road, Roscoe, NY 12776.

I worked with Martha at PHN for 7 years. She taught me about the maternal/child nursing visits. She was a fellow Queens girl and St. John's University alumni. I was proud to have known her and I will mourn her passing. God speed my dear friend. ❤
