Muriel Nemechek Obituary
Muriel A. Nemechek, 72, a retired O.R. Nurse of New Windsor, NY, entered into rest Thursday, November 5, 2009, at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital.
The daughter of Charles A. Brew and Muriel Cramer, she was born September 13, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY. Muriel was the wife of John J. Nemechek.
She was a member of St. Mary's Parish in Washingtonville. A graduate of St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing of Brooklyn, she worked at Mt. Saint Mary's Infirmiry as a nurse and for many years as a O.R. Nurse at St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her son, Peter J. and his wife, Laura Nemechek of New Windsor; grandchildren, Kyle and Matthew Nemechek of New Windsor. She was predeceased by one son, Brian P. Nemechek.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville. Graveside services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Assn., PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
Arrangements are under the care of Thomas A. Murray of the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home; 845-496-9106.

I'm so sorry to hear about Muriel, I worked with her at St.Anthony's in the OR for many years. She was so kind to me when my little daughter was sick. I won't ever forget her. With Sympathy.
