Paula Stukes Obituary

Paula Jean Stukes, 56, of Warwick, died March 2, 2005, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick, N.Y. Born on May 29, 1948 in Warwick, N.Y., she was the daughter of Roy and Jean Hicks Thompson. Mrs. Stukes was a graduate of Warwick Valley High School. She was retired from the FBI and had worked for sixteen years at the New Hampshire Pharmacy in Washington. A family statement reads: "Although you have gone from this place, we will always remember the strength you embraced until the end. Now we will conjoin our strengths and carry on the Legacy." She is survived by her saddened family; husband, Larry; one daughter, Tracy Richardson; two brothers, Roy and Mark Thompson; one sister, Marie; her stepchildren, Larice, Brian and Tuyrone; her grandchildren: Rico, Coen, Timberly, Antonio and Briana; ten nieces and nephews; four great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her stepson, Mark. Visiting will be on Monday March 7, 2005 from noon to 1:00 PM at the U.A.M.E. Church in Warwick, followed by funeral services at 1:00 PM on Monday at the church. Interment will follow in Warwick Cemetery. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the family.
