Stephanie Rimes Obituary

Rifton, NY

Stephanie Jean Rimes, daughter of Chris and Hanna Rimes of the Woodcrest Community in Rifton, NY, died peacefully in her mother's arms on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 9:15 a.m.

Just over a month old, she was born at the Benedictine Hospital in Kingston on September 3, 2008.

She suffered many physical deformities, but the peace around her - which came straight from heaven - touched countless hearts during her short journey here on earth. And those who loved her and cared for her, night and day over the last four weeks, drew strength and comfort from the words of Jesus: "Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me."

She is survived by four loving brothers and sisters: Damien, 11, Karena, 9, Kristen, 7, and Vanessa, 6.

Funeral services will be held at the Woodcrest Community in Rifton on Tuesday, October 7, at 2 p.m. For information about the funeral service call: 845-658-7700.

Arrangements are under direction of the George J. Moylan Funeral Home, Inc., 2053 Rte., 32 Rosendale, NY; 845-658-3139.
