Thomas W. Martin

Goshen - Thomas W. Martin, a certified public accountant for 42 years and a 32-year resident of the area died Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Orange Regional Medical Center at the Horton Campus, in Middletown. He was 68 years old.

The son of the late James and Geneva Martin he was born on July 9, 1939 in New York City.

Thomas was a member of the United States Marine Corps, the Full Gospel Businessmen Association, The Goshen Kiwanis Club, CPA and Accountants Association.

He was a fun loving, bigger-than-life husband and father. Martin was a mentor to many. His hobbies included raising championship show dogs, camping, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include: his wife of 47 years, Gloria, at home; three daughters: Traci Martin-Walker of Blakeslee, Pa., Toni Martin of Syracuse, N.Y., Thomasina Martin of Goshen; two sons-in-law, Anthony Walker and Norgery Lee; his adopted "son", Kenneth Bastian; grandson Terrance Walker; three granddaughters also survive him: Octavia Lee, Ayana Lee and Taylor Walker, and a host of nieces and nephews, Godchildren, cousins and friends.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
