CARL ANTHONY PACE: Born May 2, 1937 - Died August 3, 2023. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carl Anthony Pace, he departed this world on August 3, 2023, at Magnolia Springs Assisted Living in Loveland, Ohio surrounded by his loving family and caregivers. He was 86 years old. Carl is survived and missed by his loving wife Josephine of 63 years; and his children David, Julie (Reggie), and Doug (Janet). He was adored by his six grandsons Aaron, Matthew (Madison), Steven, Joseph, Karl, and Mark. Carl was predeceased by his father Carlo, his mother Mary, sister Alice (Phil) and his in-laws Anthony, Sadie, and Michael (Mary). During his career at Chrysler, Carl worked as an Engineer in Product Planning and formed the Chrysler Quality Institute. Carl fell in love with Crystal Lake and Benzie County on a color tour in 1987 and purchased their beloved cottage 5 years later. He served St. Ann Catholic Church for many years as a member of the Choir and as a Cantor. Carl had a heart to help others and volunteered for nearly 1,000 hours at Benzie Area Christian Neighbors (BACN) enthusiastically greeting and helping families in need. A memorial service will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church in Frankfort, Michigan on September 5th at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering a remarkable man who left an indelible mark on our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Benzie Area Christian Neighbors (BenzieBACN.org) in Carl's memory, as he was a passionate advocate for their cause. Carly's legacy will carry on forever reminding us of the importance of Faith, Family, and Community. We find great comfort in the knowledge that he is at peace.
