Eubon "Bonnie" Pace

Eubon "Bonnie" Catherine (Estes) Pace, Frankfort, formerly of Fostoria passed away at the age of 91 on September 21, 2021, after a lengthy battle with dementia. She was the only daughter of Lewis and Lucy Estes along with five brothers. Bonnie attended Flint Central High School until she met Jimmie Lee Pace the summer of her senior year. She had been working in Benton Harbor picking fruit with her family and he was working on the farm next door. They knew each other three days when they talked about getting married then dated two weeks which led to a marriage of 78 years and the birth of four children Gary (Bonnie), Rick (Susan), Sherry (Mark) Taylor and Debbie (Doug) Harris. Grandchildren Jimmie, Jennifer Pace, Melissa Graves, Kimberly Warnke, Matthew Taylor and Jessica Harris along with 14 great grandchildren and many special Burton and Fostoria neighbors who were always considered family.
She spent many years serving Bendle Schools as lunchroom lady, crossing guard, PTA member and Girl Scout Leader. Education was very important to her and in 1976 she attended Mott Adult High School to earn her diploma from Flint Central High School and then attended Mott Community College until hiring into Fisher Body in 1977 at the age of 47. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Pace, mother Lucy and father Lewis; brothers John, Herb, Edwin, Lewis "Bud", and Leroy; daughter Debbie Pace (Harris) and son in law Mark Taylor.
The family would like to send out a special thank you to Kelly and Steve Stedronsky of Frankfort Senior Care along with their loving staff and residents who became her extended family. A dual interment will take place at the great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by Jowett Family Funeral Home, Benzonia.
