Gilah Rosier Sailor

Born in Lansing, Michigan to Ernest and Lela Rosier. As a teenager She was saved and played the piano at Herring Lake Baptist Church. She attended Benzonia High School where she played in the band and was a cheerleader. Gilah graduated in 1962. She was a stay at home mom and later she worked and retired from the food service industry. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister: Gartha Dunckel. 2 brothers: Ernest Rosier Jr. and Ivan Rosier. She is survived by 1 brother: Douglas (Helen) Rosier of Charlotte, MI, 1 son: Brian (Michele) Hunt of Spring Lake, MI. 1 Daughter: Rebecca (Chris) Piatt of Dunedin, FL. 1 niece: Loved as a Daughter: Lela (Don) Norris of Medina, OH. Gilah had 7 grandchildren whom she cherished.
6 Grandson: Steffen Hunt, Brandon Norris, BM1 Michael (HM1 Jennifer) Piatt, US Navy, Jordon Norris, LCPL Christopher Piatt, US Marine, and Ryan Piatt. She had 1 granddaughter: Sarah Piatt. She was also blessed with 1 Great Granddaughter, Gracelyn Piatt. Many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Palm Harbor, FL. Burial will be held in the Benzonia Township Cemetery next to her parents.
