Jeanne Louise (Erickson) Angevine, age 87, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan, spending her early years there and later moved to Honor, Michigan. She is a graduate of Honor High School. Jeanne married Richard Angevine in June 1955 and lived in Anchorage, Alaska, coming back to Michigan and making it their home. She raised three children and was very involved with volunteer work. She volunteered for many soup kitchens in the Lansing area and Mother Teresa Hospice House. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Angevine. Survived by her three children Rick and Debbie Angevine, Diona and Tim Jones, Andrea Prentice and Darwyn Simms; her sister Mary and Will Johnson, grandchildren, Todd, Alexis, Kari and Trevor, five great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated Saturday, December 21, 10:00 a.m., at St. James Catholic Church, 1010 S. Lansing St., Mason, MI, with Rev. Fr,. Kusi Cobona as celebrant. The family received friends beginning at 9:00 a.m.
