Paul Osborn

1943 - 2025

Paul Douglas Osborn, beloved father of three and proud grandfather of five, passed away peacefully with family surrounding him on October 4,2025, at the age of 82. Known for his warm heart and generous spirit, he brought joy to everyone around him.
Born on April 13, 1943, in Jackson, Michigan, Paul is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ann (Benzonia); his children Douglas (New Boston), David and Stephanie (Grand Haven), and Cindy and Dan (Auburn, WA); his cherished grandchildren Zach, Brandon, Evelyn, Isabelle, Lillian, and many other loved family members.
Paul retired in 2004 after 39 years of teaching math in Northville schools. Throughout his career, he also enjoyed coaching youth baseball and football, as well as high school volleyball, track and field, and bowling.
He had a passion for life's simple pleasures-cooking delicious meals for family gatherings, spending quiet days fishing, enjoying a round of golf, and gazing out over peaceful Crystal Lake. He loved working with his hands on woodworking projects, cheering on Michigan State and the Detroit Lions, and unwinding with Jumble puzzles and Hallmark movies. Above all, his greatest joy came from time spent with his loved ones. His sarcastic wit, laughter, kindness, and steady presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
A celebration of Paul's life will be held at First Congregational Church of Frankfort on Oct 25, 2025 beginning with visitation at noon, services start at 1 p.m. with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family asks that you honor his memory by sharing a meal, a story, or a quiet moment with those you love.
