Michelle:

I was traveling with my boys this week in the back country of Idaho and found out via a voice-mail from my mom about your dear husband. I am so sorry for your loss. While I only met Andy a few times, it was obvious he loved you and your boys very much and from the stories told on these pages, was a man of great character and humor.

I know this does nothing to heal the hurt you are feeling now, but know, as you do, that you will see him again. There is a Christian artist who lost his wife to cancer and has a song that is an incredible reminder of this fact. I thought I would put a few of the words here to share.

"But I hold on to this hope and the promise that He brings. That there will be a place with no more suffering.

There will be a day with no more tears, no more pain, and no more fears

There will be a day when the burdens of this place, will be no more, we’ll see Jesus face to face."

Jeremy Camp, "There Will Be A Day."

What a great hope Michelle, one I pray will be a comfort to you and your sons. Please keep us posted on your life and the challenges you will obviously face. You are loved!

I can remember when you and Andy met. You were a well kept secret at Boone's. He fell head over heels for you. He was such a happy person and was full of the devil(that is a pun).I loved checking him in from the run he was on. He always made me laugh. He loved you so much and was not afraid to say so. We will all miss him. He touched many lives and many hearts. He will be missed.

Michelle,
Andy was such a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed. You have been such a rock through this whole thing Andy was lucky to have you by his side and the boys are lucky to have you as a mom. There are no words to express how sorry me and Lou are for your loss we will miss coming over and spending time with you all and listening to Andy tell the boys to stay out of the street a million times (lol). Our hearts and prayers are with you every day.

Michelle, Andy, Matthew and David and Amanda
You can be so proud of your husband and daddy. He had many friends who cared a lot about him, but most of all he had your love and he was proud of each of you. Even though he is with the angels now, his love is still in your hearts and will always be there.
When you think of him put your hand over your heart then blow him a kiss. He is as close as a memory and you can talk to him whenever you want to. That will be your special time with him. God Bless each of you.
And to Andy's mother, sister and nephew, I know this is a difficult time losing a daughter & son, sister and brother, so close. Take comfort knowing they are together. God Bless you and give you strength and courage.

I had just reconected with Andy via facebook just before he got ill. We went to school together from I believe 4th grade through high school. He was a very quiet person and sweet. I wish I would have a chance to talk with him more. My thoughts go out to you Michelle and your kids. We have a six year old daughter and I can't imagine how she would deal with the lose of myself or her dad.

We are so saddened to of lost a wonderful man. Our memories of Andy will last a life time, specially the birthday parties, he was always making us laugh with his corny jokes. He was a wonderful Assistant T-ball coach for Deanne, she couldn't of done it without him. I know he will be on the field this year watching over his boys and helping Deanne again. He will be truely missed. Our prayers and love continue for his family.
