Barton Leroy Duncan was born November 10, 1949. Bart lost is battle with cancer and died peacefully at home on July 29, 2014 with his wife Bonnie and good friend Greg at his bedside.
Bart was a Marine Corp. veteran and worked for the post office for 30 years. Longtime resident of Shasta county, he and his wife retired to Trinidad, CA. (THEIR KINGDOM BY THE SEA).
He is survived by his wife Bonnie, his 3 children Christopher, Elton & Jay Leslie. His 4 step-children Rick, Lisa, Geoff & Dolly, his 5 grandchildren Jacob, Hannah, Jack, Audrey & Lucas.

I had not keep in touch with Bart for some time but we were friends from our youth, growing up just down the street from each other. Bart was and will always be a link to our youth, he will live in my heart.

I worked with Bart for quite a few years at the Redding post office. Bart was always a soft spoken man that was easy going. Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.
