Bruce Roth Obituary
Bruce Roth of Redding, CA died March 29, 2010 of heart failure at the age of 77.
He was born April 20, 1932, in Albany, OR to Henry and Marie Roth.
He graduated from Albany High School and attended Oregon State University. After working 30 years for IBM, he volunteered with the Amateur Radio Emergency service, The Computer Club and the Computer Rescue Group.
He also served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his brother, Jerry and his wife Carol, one nephew and three nieces.
His sister preceded him in death.
Burial will be at Willamette Memorial Park in Albany, OR. A private service is planned.

I sure will miss Bruce's good morning, Jackie and his smile. I knew Bruce for 1 1/2 years at Restoration Enterprises where he worked with three other wonderful computer men. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I was so saddened to read about Bruce's death. He was such a kind and caring person and I will truly miss him! I always looked forward to seeing him come into the gym and talking to him. I am so grateful to have had him as a friend. My love and prayers go out to his family!

Bruce was a highly valued member of the Computer Users Group of Redding, serving as its Vice President and being a active participant in many of its programs. Bruce could always be depended upon to support the club in its many activities. He also worked with a group to refurbish older computers, to be given to those in need.

On behalf of all the employees at Dutch Bros. on 273, we really enjoyed making you a medium cup of black decaf coffee every day. Your smile and chuckle will be greatly missed. We loved every afternoon talking with you about your time in the military, your work on different comities, and just how your day was going. Thank you for always smiling and having such a positive outlook.
