Cal Chamberlain Obituary
Red Bluff, CA
Cal G. Chamberlain passed away on Dec. 10th, 2017 while on a trip visiting his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was able to see his newest great-grandchild, Cal, for the first time.
Cal was born in St. Maries Idaho Aug. 31, 1933. After graduating from Hayward High School, he joined the Marines. During his service he qualified for the Olympics in swimming. Later, he joined the Coast Guard Reserves and retired as a Lieutenant Commander after 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his sweetheart and wife of 62 years, Jessie.
He is survived by his three children, Guy, Joy and Mark, 12 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service on Jan. 6th at 11:00am, at the Oak Hills Cemetery in Red Bluff.
