Daniel Michiels Obituary

Daniel John Michiels

San Francisco, CA

Tiger, Katherine, Frank and Mary Michiels have sad news of their brother Daniel John Michiels. Dan passed away on October 26th, 2018 due to complications with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). Sister in law Susie Michiels and niece Whitney Michiels along with all of us were at his side. Dan was our special brother with a robust personality, never ending passion for the Dodgers, baseball, fishing, gambling, Hollywood and pretty girls. Dan became a very talented contemporary artist as a student of Creativity Explored in San Francisco. He was most famously recognized when his art was used by Comme des Garcons and walked the fashion runway in Paris, 2014. Dan felt he had unfortunately ended up in the city of San Francisco where he spent his final ten plus years as he was a staunch republican, Dodger Fan and knew enough to realize he now was in the minority. However he made many friends in San Francisco, was known and loved, spent a lot of time at Creativity Explored, with the merchants in his neighborhoods and immensely enjoyed his caregivers. For Dan's September 15th, 62nd Bday he spent three days at his beloved Disneyland with his siblings.

Dan's four siblings, our spouses, children and grand children would like to suggest for those wishing to send a gift, flowers or to honor Dan, please give in memory of Daniel John Michiels to:
