David Wayne Truax

1952 - 2015

David was born on February 09, 1952 and peacefully passed away on March 23, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his wife Denise Truax; daughter Rhyanne Skinner (Chris); son Chris Truax; stepsons Kevin Shadish (Krysta) and Tom Shadish; soon to be born granddaughter Abby Skinner; sister Penny (Truax) Mc Pherson; brother Corte (Bud) Truax and former wife Bobbi Truax.

David is preceded in death by his parents Corte and Margaret Truax and brother Tom Truax.

Dave's family would like to thank Christina Ramirez and Mercy Hospice, for all the patient and loving care that they provided.

A Celebration of Life for Dave will follow at a later date.

I met Dave at Shasta College and both of us ended up at Fresno State. Since I didn't have a car he would give me a ride back to Anderson many times. He was truly an exceptional young man then and over the years I have wondered where he settled down, glad it was back in Redding. My condolences to his entire family.
