Elaine and I met through our husbands who both worked at the Marin CHP office. Elaine and I hit it off from the start. Though after leaving the Marin area we didn't get to see each other very often, yet our friendship never missed a beat. We had a lot in common. Our love of our beloved husbands, our children our grandchildren, and of course Christmas. Elaine recently posted on Facebook a picture of a well decorated home with lots of lights. Her comment was "my favorite color is Christmas". Me too. Elaine was my dearest girlfriend and I will always miss her. I loved this wonderful lady.

Elaine and I bend a few nails together. Rather she'd bend them and I was stuck pulling them. Our construction class together at Shasta College brought us together, that laugh of hers could be heard across the room above the wood shop machinery. Everyone loved her bubbly personality and joking. Truly a great lady that will always have a place in my heart!
