Icole Rzewnicki Obituary

Icole Rzewnicki

Cottonwood, CA

Icole Rzewnicki was born to proud parents Jack and Vernyse Wyrick in Tacoma, Washington on July 17, 1945. She was the second child and eldest daughter out of seven boys and three girls. She passed away peacefully at the age of 70 on February 29th, 2016 with her loving husband by her side.

The Wyrick family moved to Berkeley, California where Icole attended local primary schools and graduated from Berkeley High School. Icole married Robert Brown, and from this union came her two children, Raymond Brown and Lavinia Montero.

Icole worked for The Kellogg Company and Physics International and held other jobs where she worked hard to sustain her family. She later fell in love with and married her best friend Thomas Rzewnicki, and they ultimately settled in Cottonwood, California.

She was an incredible cook and enjoyed baking and preparing delicious meals for friends and family. She had an infectious smile and laugh, she had a very generous spirit and she was known for being quite the fashionsita. She was caring, full of life, and a loving mother to her children and grandchildren. Icole loved to laugh; she had an abundant sense of humor and shared a deep love for Jehovah.

Icole leaves behind to mourn her passing yet celebrate her life: her husband Thomas Rzewnicki of Cottonwood, Ca; her son and his wife: Raymond and Jacqueline Brown of Salida, Ca; her daughter and her husband: Lavinia and Patrick Montero of San Diego, Ca; her three grandchildren: Justin and Jada Brown and Matthew Cummings. She is survived by her brothers Jack Wyrick and wife Marie of Stockton, Ca., Joseph Wyrick and wife Veta of El Cerrito, Ca., Adolph Wyrick and wife Felicia of Stockton, Ca., Gary Wyrick of Berkeley, Ca, Timothy Wyrick and wife Alisha of Vacaville, Ca. and her sister Anna Armstrong and husband Oscar of Hercules, Ca., as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Icole goes on to join her loving parents Jack and Vernyse Wyrick, her brothers David and John Wyrick, and her sister Gail Laverne Jones. Icole was dearly loved by many, will be missed greatly and kept in our hearts forever.

In Memory of Icy

Forever Alive

When the sun is shining I think of you
And remember all the good times we had together.
I think of everything we used to do
And I will Treasure them forever.

I thank you for everything you gave me.
You taught me how to love and respect
And how to be comfortable and free.
You showed me how to truly connect.

The world seems smaller now that you're gone
But life is just beginning for me.
Life will go on as I now face the dawn.
You have opened a way for me to be.

You'll always be with me in every thought.
I'll always love you forever you grandson Scott.

"C" you lived life to it's fullest. You were one of a kind. We are heartbroken as you have left us too soon; we weren't ready. Thank you for so many great, funny and at times just plain crazy memories! I will do my best to take care of your boys, your grandchildren and that adorable little puppy! I promise to stay strong like you and take life a little less serious. You are missed more than you ever will know! Love you mom-mas!
