James Ellis de Beaumont was born February 13, 1946 in Lakeport, CA. to his loving parents, Bernard and Virginia. He was the youngest of four brothers Robert, Skip, and Russell. He is survived by Russell.
James met the love of his life, Peggy, and married her in 1969. Married for 38 years Peggy passed away from cancer in 2007. After being widowed for almost ten years he is being laid to rest beside his loving wife.
James worked in the manufactured housing business for the majority of his life. Hard working and beloved by both employers and employees.
An amazing father of two children Nicole Marie Weaver and James Eric de Beaumont. He is also survived by his grandson, Hunter Alan Weaver.
James passed away at Copper Ridge Care Center Redding on Friday, April 14, 2017. He had suffered a massive stroke almost three years prior to his passing and Copper Ridge had become his home. James passed quickly and peacefully.
There will be a viewing Friday, April 21 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and a service Saturday, April 22 at 12:00 p.m. with the burial at St. Joseph Cemetery at 12:45 p.m.
A luncheon will also follow.

Think of you often, my friend! I walk by your grave when I to the cemetery on my morning walks sometimes and alway think of our conversations and laughter at the gym!

Eric, your dad was a good man. When I read of his passing, I called a mutual friend. I told him that I never saw Jim in a sour mood. He agreed. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Jim's passing. He was such a kind and caring person , and I will always have a special place in my heart for him.
My love and prayers are with his children and his grandson, Hunter! May God bless all of you.

When Jim was working for Cousin Gary's, he was my contact person when the PG&E was needed to run to a new home. I worked with Jim on many, many projects. He was always professional, honest, hard-working, and wickedly funny. I can still hear him laugh (more of a giggle, actually) He also showed me how to dowse for water. He was an amazing water witch; me, not so much! You may not have known your dad in his work life, but I did, and those are great memories. RIP Jim DeeBee.
