James Lockhart Obituary
James Garland Lockhart was born in Boyd, Texas on December 19, 1923.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elda Ann; 3 children, James Lockhart Jr., Susan Foley and Lorene Gannett; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and 6 siblings.
Jim served in the US Marine Corps where he met Elda. They were married on December 31, 1945. Jim owned and operated several service stations throughout his life in Redding. The last station was on Railroad Ave. He was a member of the Redding Rambling A's since 1975 and toured extensively throughout the US in his 1929 Model A along with his wife Elda.

He was simply known to his family as Jim, Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad & Great, Great Grandad. My children are richer for him being in their lives. I loved Him and Noni for 47 years. I am saddened w/this news. Peace and Love to Noni and Family....Your Daughter-in-law....Sue

i only hope that James 5:28,29 is true and i will see him again still cant get over the fact he is gone miss my grandfather more everyday but he was more than a grandfather he raised me he was more like my father love and miss you
