Jerry Stovall Obituary
Jerry Stovall passed away on July 9, 2011, in Shasta Lake City, CA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Stovall and Geneva Stovall, and by his uncle, Preston Stovall. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Kaylin Stovall; his father, Arvel Stovall; his mother, Lynn Sheeran; his sister, Lisa Segelquist; and, his brother, Jess Stovall. Other surviving family members include his grandmother, Katherine Purcell; his aunt, Becky Woolsey; cousins Darrell Woolsey and Damen Woolsey; cousins, Kyle Sullivan, Carrie Phillips and Kelly Loveland; nephews, Randall Woodard and Jordan Woodard; nieces, Jasmine Woodard and Isabella Segelquist; his aunt, Denise Tinsley; his uncle, Duane Smith; cousin, Austin Dias; stepmother, Lisa Land; stepsister, Sara Lewis; stepfather, Bob Sheeran; and, stepbrother Kris Sheeran.
Jerry was born in Fieldbrook, CA in 1978 and graduated from McKinleyville High School. He followed in his grandfather's and father's footsteps and became an Ironworker. He had been living in Shasta Lake City for the past several years with his partner, Jessica Wampler. Jerry was great at everything he did. Hunting, fishing, snowboarding and riding dirt bikes were some of his favorite pastimes. He loved to hang out with his friends at the lake. In fact, just enjoying the outdoors in the sunshine and spending time with his daughter, Kaylin, were some of his happiest moments. Jerry had a big heart and would help his family and friends in good or bad times. He will be missed dearly.
A special thank you to Dan Whorton for all the support and friendship given to Jerry's family in their time of sorrow. This means more than you know.
A potluck Celebration of Life will be held in memory of Jerry at the VFW Hall in Willow Creek, CA on Saturday, July 30, 2011, from 2-4 p.m. All family and friends are welcome. No flowers. Just come and share your stories. If you have any questions, please call Lisa Land at (530) 784-7678.

Little brothers are for making forts and climbing trees with. And don't for get the mud pies that I made for you to sample when we were like 7. :) You were so much fun, life would have been down right boring without you in it. Jerry was our neighbor and friend. He would come over and play ball with the kids, toss them in the pool and harass the heck out of them. We will never forget you and we'll always keep your memory alive. I'm so sorry for the family's loss.
