Karmen was born on March 6, 1926, in Markleton, PA and passed away on August 15, 2009. She was a resident of Standish, CA for 13 years and previously lived in Redding.
She is survived by her children; Tom, Jack and wife Dorothy, Candice and husband Ron, Tim and wife Jennifer, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and brother Burt.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Harold, sister Pearl, and brother Toby.
Services will be held at Allen & Dahl in Anderson, CA on August 21st, 2009 at 10 am.

Candy and family...thinking of you all at this time in your life that allows everyone that knew your Mother to reflect on memories that will become treasures to all that knew Karmen. I remember the time that the new washing machine was damaged by a "new driver". Won't mention names LOL. We were great young friends Candy. I laugh remembering all of us, Mary Jane, Donna and you and me engaging in the adventures of childhood. My brother and you, I have a photo he was so short next to you. I remember when you moved that was very hard missing such a great friend.
Remember to always share in the memories of your DEAR MOTHER as they like mine do become treasures in my life forever. Love and a smile to all, Debbie Cantrell Simmons

Tim and family...so sorry for your loss. Your mom is in a much better place for now. I for one, am glad to have known her for some 30 odd years. I've never met a more hard working and determined woman. l'm thankful for all the meals and gatherings that we had when your mom and dad lived in Shingletown...man that woman could make some mean horseradish! Your mom always treated me as if I was one of her own and I will never forget that. I just hope and pray that I'm worthy enough to see her on the other side. 'Till we meet again Karmen.....
