Kimberlee Thomas Obituary

Kimberlee Anne Thomas

Cottonwood, CA

Kimberlee Anne Thomas, know to all as Kim, age 29, of Cottonwood was taken from us on Thursday 7/2/15. Kim was born on January 21st, 1986 to Keith and Sandra Thomas. An only child for 13 years, Kim finally got her wish, when her baby sister, Lindsey Thomas, was born in 1999. Kim grew up playing soccer and dancing for Cottonwood Community Dance. At Anderson High School, she continued dancing and was crowned Homecoming Queen. After graduating high school in 2004, Kim began her career as an assistant in the medical field and spent the past year as a surgical assistant for Dr. Randy Tate. In 2006, Kim welcomed her eldest daughter, Jasmine Fate; a sweet, intelligent, kind-hearted little girl. In 2008, Kim welcomed her youngest daughter, Liberty Hope; a kind, loving and free-spirited little girl.

Kim was perfect. Everyone who was lucky enough to have known her, be it for 5 minutes or 29 years, would agree. Kim changed lives, she inspired every person she met and no matter what the challenge, she never stopped smiling and persevering. Kim's whole life revolved around her two girls and she was the best mom, daughter, sister, friend, niece, and cousin. As her daughter Jasmine so beautifully said, "Kim was loved by many people." Although her absence from our lives will be felt forever, her beautiful spirit will live on through her daughters.

A Celebration of Life is to be held for Kim and father Keith at Allen and Dahl on Sunday, 7/12/15 in Palo Cedro at 11am. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to help support her daughters at www.gofundme.com/kimandkeith or the Thomas Memorial Fund at Tri Counties Bank.

All of my best childhood memories involve you. Even though we grew apart as we got older I thought about you often. For so long I thought about calling you and getting together with you, but I never did and now I will never get to relive those memories with you. I have always missed you and your beautiful smile. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories you gave me. I will always have a special spot in my heart for you.

Kimmee, you were my very first best friend, pretty much from the moment I was born. You always watched over me. From leaving me notes in my cubby when I was in Kindergarten, to getting your ears pierced first so I wouldn't be scared. I have loved and admired you my entire life, and that will never change. Most days it feels like this aching in my chest will never subside, but when I look at your girls I see you and that is giving us all so much strength. Thank you for bringing us more joy in your 29 years than we could have ever hoped for. I miss you and I love you.

P.S Please keep sending us those signs that let us know you're watching over us.

My daughter, my best friend, I miss you more than words can express. The emptiness I feel is so unbelievable. I am so lucky to have had the 29 years I had with you and to be able to say that I was your mom. I will never stop loving you and will make sure your girls always know what a beautiful person you were inside and out. I will always love you.

My best friend... The most perfect mother, wife, cousin, daughter and friend I have ever known will forever be missed. Kim had an infectious personality that made you want to be a better person. Within the few years she had with her children she had instilled in them so much wisdom. Those little girls are very wise and will take after their wonderful mother. I miss you more than words could say, I wish I could have you back here with us. However, I know you are in a much better place now and pray God helps fill this huge void in my heart and all of ours. Love you Cousin!

I keep texting you hoping for a response because this doesn't feel real. You will always have a huge place in my heart because my whole life was with you in it. Everything important in my life, you've been there with me. I can't imagine experiencing life without you. I love you so much and will forever miss you. Rest in peace my sweet Bernie.

I'm still having a hard time wrapping my mind and heart around all of this. Kim was someone that no matter how much time went between conversations, it always picked up like there was no time between. I have so many memories of Kim and I, that I will always hold close to my heart. I'll always keep a part of you with me Kim. I love and miss you dearly.

Our girls were on the same soccer team for several seasons. Kim was always in a good mood and willing to help in any way she could. She was such a wonderful mother and person. I am glad that I got a chance to know her. She will be missed. May she rest in peace!

It is sad to see Kim and her father are gone. I am so sorry Kim was such a good person. I only knew her for a brief time when I worked at the Anderson Gym and she came in. I watched her to wonderful girls in the daycare. They played with my daughters. I am sorry for your loss but know that they are In Great places with our Lord God and savior.
