Lurline Lindley, passed away on February 23, 2015 at 10:30 pm.

Lurline Lindley worked at JCPenny's for 20 years. She has resided in the local area since 1969 having moved here from Blythe, CA to join her grandma Hazel Florence O'Neil in Mountain Gate.

Lurline leaves behind her daughter Stacy Lynn Browning (Redding), her grandchildren; James Ray Robinson, a Foreman in Kansas City, Kansas; Deceased Blake Stanley Robinson (April 19th, 1996); Isabella Rosalba Kwiatkowski, currently attending the University of Sacramento; Faith Lurline Moser, 8th grade (Redding); Gabriel Clark Moser, 5th grade (Redding). Lurline also leaves behind her boyfriend Allen Ottinger (Shasta Lake) and his children: Jake Ottinger, Jesse Ottinger & Josh Nelson (Los Angeles, CA), Nicholas Ottinger (Bay Area) as well as Matt Ottinger & his wife Pamela, their baby girl Marilyn Jean Ottinger and Anabella Hewlett-Ottinger (Anderson) and Matt's other daughter Rachael Ottinger.

Lurline leaves behind many friends who have known her since 3rd grade and whom she loves dearly. Lurline has many family members from Missouri to California that will miss her laughter, love and caring.

Lurline was a very giving person, giving gifts and love to her family. Lurline enjoyed cooking particularly birthday cakes and finger foods. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and friends.

In the 70's and 80's Lurline participated in local fashion shows and the Red Hat Society. Lurline chose Redding to raise her family because of her love of the outdoors and activities.

Lurline has been active in local charities including NorCal Think Pink and Relay for Life since 1996. Because of her long time involvement, her family wishes that donations in lieu of gifts or flowers be made to both charities: Child Abuse Awareness Rescue Mission in Redding Angel's Tree.

Her funeral will be held at Allen & Dahl on Eureka Way in Redding, March 10th at 11:00 am.

For those wishing to donate to defraying costs of funeral by going to Chase Bank and designate "funeral" on the memo line.

Memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm at Beacon Missionary Baptist Church located at 2170 Hartnell Ave., Redding, CA 96001.

Lurline... you will truly be missed by so many friends and family. My cousin Sis, as we affectionately called her, faced and overcame many obstacles and heartbreaks in her life but was never defeated by any.
