Was on the Shasta Lake Ranger District Team with Marvin. He was a quiet, "Can Do" guy always with a smile no matter how hard the task. Marvin was a key to getting National Recognition on some engineering innovations in the National Recreation Area. Will never forget him. God bless his family and all those grandchildren.

I have enjoyed a long and wonderful friendship with Marvin and Linda for over 25 years, as did my parents before me. As my neighbors in Central Valley and also in Moose Camp, I have many happy memories that include them. God bless you, Marvin and hugs to Linda. ♥

The Moose Camp community will sorely miss this great member. Marvin was always willing and able to help his neighbors when things needed fixing. It was amazing the way he could work that backhoe. He was a man of many talents.
Linda and family, my sincerest condolences. And while I may be half way across the country now, I will cherish the memories of sitting on the cabin porch with you two (and anyone else who dropped by) laughing and telling stories 'bout the good life.

As relatively new members to Moose Camp we immediately felt welcome when we met Marv and Linda. Rick was taken into the Good Ole Boys group right away who loved to work with them to help maintain and improve camp. Always more of a doer than a talker it is hard to imagine being at camp without him. We loved the times we would just hang out on the their porch visiting with Marv and Linda and anyone else that wondered by. Our prayers are with the all the family. Even though Marv is now in heaven driving his (never break down) back hoe doing his part, we will never ever forget him because every where you look at camp you will still see him. God Bless.
