Ducati and Katana,

You two are so amazing. You have been so strong throughout this last year. Both of you helped take care of your dad while he was sick in different ways that some adults wouldnt have had the courage to do.

You two are going to keep your dad's memory alive for Mason and all those that loved him.

Katana your poem you wrote and read at the memorial was beautiful. I bet your dad lit up the sky with pride while you were reading it. You are so brave.

Ducati you light the way with your brave smile everyday.

It amazes me you both have so much strength and courage at 13 and 12 years old and continue to live, smile, laugh, love and care enough to help others through this difficult time even though you are both sad too.

Your dad loved you both very much and will always watch over you and help guide you along the way. No matter where you are, he will be right there with you in your heart.

I love you both so very much and I am so proud of you. You are two beautiful, intelligent, brave, courageous, funny, caring, kind and loving children. Words cant express the pride I feel for you.

Amy,
You have been a wonderful mother and an amazing devoted wife to Mike. Your stregth and courage over this last year is admirable and kept him fighting for life and one more day with you. You will always be a part of our family and Ducati and Katana's mom. I couldnt have picked a better step mom for my kids. You turned Mike into the man he became and he was so lucky to have you and your parents in his life and to keep his memory alive.
Mason,
Your daddy loved you more than you will ever know. Ducati and Katana will have so many stories for you as you grow up. Your momma is a fighter and hold on to her tight, she needs lots of hugs and kisses.
Judy and Dennis,
Thank you for becoming Mike's family and taking him in as your own. You are all amazing for accepting him into your family and giving him the love and support you have and showing him what love, parents and family should be.
Phillip, I know this brought back so much for you. Mike adored you and never forgot about his big brother. I am so glad you and Mike were able to have a few precious years together.
Mike, watch over Amy, Mason, Ducati and Katana. They will forever love you and your memory will not be forgotten. You have always been and will always be a part of our lives no matter where you are.

"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you."

16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life

Mike will be missed! I have many great memories of him, he was always a good friend to my family and I. It has been years since we had seen eachother or talked but, I often thought of him and always hoped he was doing well. I was happy for him when friends told me he had met Amy and had the love and support of her and her family. I hope he is resting in peace and know he is happy once again to be with his Mom. Although I don't know you Amy you and the kids are in my thoughts and prayers.

I don't think I can put into words just how much Mike will be missed by myself and so many. He was one of the funniest people I knew and was a great friend. He loved his family more than anything in this world. I will miss you very much.
