Patty Glenn Obituary
Patty was born on December 16, 1944 and raised in Dunsmuir. She worked for Pacific Bell as an operator & worked herself up to the Engineering Department. In April of 1966, Patty met and married her husband of 41 years, John Glenn. In 1979 Patty and John built their dream home in the mountains, and in 1981 Patty gave birth to their daughter Terilynn. In 1984 Patty opened her own business, Road Runner Delivery. In 2001, cancer forced Patty to close Road Runner and from then on, she operated an E-commerce business from her home, allowing her to enjoy her favorite pastimes: gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family.
Patty was preceded in death by her brother, Bobbie Wheeler of Dunsmuir. She is survived by her husband John, daughter and son-in-law Terilynn and Robert Zanni of Castella, mother Phyllis Wheeler, and three nieces, Melinda, Cheri, and Meranda Wheeler all of Dunsmuir.
A celebration in memory of Patty is being planned for this weekend and all are welcome to attend. Details can be obtained by contacting our friends at Ammirati's Market in Castella at 530-235-2676 between 8am and 9pm.

I just found out about Patty today. I am so sorry for your loss. Patty was one of those special people in this life that always made other people smile & laugh when she was around. Please know that Ron & I will hold you in hearts.

John,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time. I worked with Patty in the Test Center in Redding. She was quite a little character. She called and comforted me when she learned about my battle with breast cancer. I will never forget her encouragement, she was a trooper.
