Randall Forrest Obituary

Dr. Randall Forrest 1st

On the morning of April 10th 2012, Randall Kent Forrest chose to ascend to a higher plain at the age of 60. Standing at a stately 6'2", his life was something of a myth. He was a mountaineer, adventurer, musician, entrepreneur, spiritualist, humorist, paranormal enthusiast, animal tamer, rescuer, innovator, haberdasher and master of fine cuisine. By his early 20s he had already managed a carnival and creatively collaborated with Neil Young and Pete Townsend. As an R.N., he saved thousands of lives throughout his 30+ year career. He is remembered by an adoring family, friends and all who envied him. The great beyond undoubtedly greets him with a thousand friends, heroes, and a lifetime worth of ecstatic dogs.

Worked with Randy ( and Tony ) at Canyonwood ...wonderful man, great Nurse. Admired his medical knowledge, empathy and care for the residents, loved working with both Randy and Tony on NOC shift. I was shocked to learn of his passing, although it sounds like he lived a full and happy life!

Please accept my deepest condolences. Back in High School.. 1968, I double dated with Randy for my Junior prom. We went to the Elegant Farmer for dinner. As a youth, he had the funniest sense of humor, always fun to be around. I'm grateful I had reunited with him on facebook and chatted with him several times. Rest in peace my dear Alumni friend.
