I never knew you well, Dick, but well enough to know you were a decent man. I always got a lift from seeing you in the halls of dear old Lebanon Union High School. I wish I could have seen you at our upcoming Class of '56 reunion. but you will be there in spirit. Rest in peace, gentle soul.

Aunt Barbara and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Although it has been some years since I have seen Uncle Dick, I have such fond memories of his big smile and laugh and larger than life personality. I think fondly of those early years playing with my cousins and eating the freshest corn on the cob straight from Uncle Dick's corn patch! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I will miss my dad very much. He had a personality that was larger than life and I would call him on many occasions for advice and a good laugh. I have such fond memories of the summers that I spent in Hayfork, with Dad, Barbara, Joni and Richard.
I learned many things during this time of my life that I have been able to pass on to my own children. Dad taught us about hard work and determination. The word "can't" wasn't in his vocabulary. He told us that a man's word meant something. He was a man of integrity.
I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with Dad in the last few weeks of his life. I will cherish those memories forever.

Barbara and Family,
We were so shocked to hear of Dick's passing. Byron's years of working for Dick were the best. He was not only the "Boss", he was a best friend. We have so many fond memories of camping on the logging jobs.
We know he will be missed so much by all who knew him.
Our love and prayers to all.
