Sending my condolences to all the Freeman Family. I have very fond memories of Aunt Ruby, she was always sincere and cared deeply for those around her. One memory stood out, I remember 36 years ago right after my husband and I were married we drove through California on our way up to Canada and stopped in at Redding to see aunt Ruby and uncle Dude, during our visit they took us up to Shasta Lake, when we got back she ask what kind of pie would we like, I told Jim to pick an he couldn't decide either so she made both of them, 1 chocolate and 1 banana cream, not to mention they were the best pies we've ever had, this was something Jim has never forgotten, aunt Ruby's love and generosity. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her life was a testiment of her love for others and "Because someone we love is in heaven there's a little bit of Heaven in our home". Wishing God's comfort for all of Aunt Ruby's Family and those who knew her

In loving memory of my Dear Aunt Ruby! She could always make you feel at ease with that warm smile of hers and gentle calm nature! I remember visiting she and Uncle Dude up in Redding, she made my favorite pie, lemon meringue! She and my mother shared a special closeness as sisters, there was always an ample supply of love, sweetness and thoughtfulness in the air when they were together. My Aunt Ruby will never be forgotten. With our sincerest sympathy and love, Dorothy, Judy, Larry & Shane
