Susan Botts Obituary

Susan Botts

Redding, CA

Susan was born on 11-3-37 in Corning, CA and lived in Redding until her death on 7-29-17. She worked in retail, real estate, & as a transcriptionist. She was vivacious, enjoyed life, & never doubted her journey would end in heaven where she expected a welcome from her parents Allie & John E. Clark & her grandson Hunter Sharp who arrived before her.

Susan is survived by her daughter Deborah (Marc), son Dan (Signe), & sister Lynn Dunbar (Walt); grandkids Natalie Martin Tillery (Ben), Jackie Sharp (James), & Veray Fugere; & seven spirited great-grandkids Elijah Martin, Jaxon, Ava, & Christian Tillery; & Haylie, James Jr., & Brooklynn Sharp.

She requested prayers on her behalf and donations in her memory to One Safe Place in Redding or the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers, cards, or a service.

Susan and I were bffs long before the term was used. Her sense of humor was both unique and to be envied by those without one. I will miss her!

Debbie and Danny,

Having recently lost my own mom, you are truly both in my heartfelt thoughts.

Debbie, Dan, Natalie and Family~
We were a young family with yours in the Anderson days. Visiting and you children playing together. Your mother was such a good friend.
I last saw her when she was in treatment at one of the Labs, where my husband George was also getting tests. She was ever beautiful and friendly.
I then met Natalie in the hospital when George was there. We lost George last June. Natalie was helpful and bright like her grandmother.
May all your family find peace knowing you will be with Susan again one day.
Love and Blessings to each of you.
