He planted his garden at the age of 91 and Jean (Haley), his wife for 72-years baked him zucchini bread one more summer. A heavy duty mechanic by trade he worked in the California towns of West Point, Hayfork, and Redding where he retired from Peterson Tractor Company. Bill was a member of the Operating Engineers Local Union #3 for 43-years.

His eldest child, Diana Blank (Jacob) had 3 children:

Stacey (d.), Toiya (d.) and Tyson (Amanda) who have sons Ian and Zachary.

Bill's youngest child, Darryl Hague (Sharon), have 2 children: Michelle Kimble (Dane). Her children are: #1 Shalisa (Whitman) Jancik. She and Boone have daughters Aubrey and Skyler. #2 William Whitman, and #3 daughter Taylor Kimble.

Paul is Darryl's second child and has 4 children: #1 Brian, and with wife Michelle, #2 Ashton, #3 Caige, and daughter #4 Karley.

With the help of Mercy Hospice his wish to stay at home was granted when a brain tumor had him bedridden.

He was a member of the Masonic Trinity Lodge #27 in Weaverville, Shasta Northern Light OES of Millville, Nor-Cal Shrine Club, and the Knights Templar. Bill and Jean spent many years working with the Redding Rainbow Girls.

Bill requested no services.
