DIANE M. GEWERTH Diane M. Gewerth, 60, of Atwater, formerly of Morton, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Divine House in Atwater. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls with burial to follow in St. John's Catholic Church Cemetery, Morton. Visitation will be held two hours prior to mass from 9 - 11 a.m. at the church. The Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Morgan and Redwood Falls are in charge of the arrangements. E-mail condolences may be sent via www.nelson-hillestad.com. Diane Gewerth, born on July 10, 1964, was a cherished member of her community and family. Diane had a long and dedicated career, working for DAC of Atwater and for Proworks of Litchfield for 29 years and retired January of 2025. Diane was a graduate of Redwood Falls, having completed her education in 1985. She had a vibrant personality, known for her sense of humor and her love for people. Diane had a particular passion for traveling, often enjoying trips with her parents. She loved capturing memories through her camera, taking pictures and holding onto the special moments in her life. Diane is survived by her brothers, Raymond Gewerth of Redwood Falls and Dennis Gewerth of Delhi, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Alvin and Leona and one brother Melvin who surely welcomed her with open arms. In remembering Diane, we celebrate a life lived fully, a spirit that brought joy to countless others, and a bond that will eternally remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
