KENNETH DOLD 04/20/1958 - 10/14/2025 Kenneth Dold, 67, of Sioux Falls, S.D., formerly of southwest Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls after battling a sudden illness. Memorial Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be from 2 - 4 p.m., Thursday, October 23 at Miller Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 7400 S. Minnesota Ave., Sioux Falls. Kenneth Andrew Dold was born April 20, 1958, in Tracy to Eugene "Gene" and Eleanor Dold. The family moved from Minnesota to Iowa and back, where Ken graduated from Westbrook High School in 1976. Following high school he attended technical school in Granite Falls before beginning a lifelong career in the agriculture and grain business. Ken worked for Meadowland Farmer's Coop for much of his working life, managing grain elevators across southwest Minnesota. Ken was married to Patti (Wog) Dold for over 40 years and their marriage blessed him with his two sons. As a family they enjoyed many fun adventures including trips to local race tracks, vacations to the Black Hills, Duluth, Florida and Las Vegas. Later in life, Ken was blessed with two grandchildren who he loved dearly and enjoyed taking on their own adventures as well. Ken enjoyed being outdoors hunting, exploring trails on his side-by side, and taking boat rides with his kids and grandkids. He was an avid collector of books and historical memorabilia, always on the hunt for his next find. Ken also relished his time at the Leonard deer shack with family and friends. He had recently moved to Sioux Falls to be closer to his grandkids and was looking forward to spending more time with them in his retirement. Ken is survived by his two sons and their spouses, Ben and Mindy Dold and their children Sophie and Spencer of Sioux Falls, Rick and Leah Dold of Winona, his mother, Eleanor Dold of Tracy, his siblings, Deb and Dennis Smith of Jeffers, Linda Dold of Hastings, Cheryl Miller of Mankato, Jeff and Joanne Dold of Hastings, Marsha and Marv Abels of Adrian, Mary and Tom Schiltz of Hastings, and Nancy Henze of Fort Worth, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Dold. Miller Funeral Home in Sioux Falls is assisting with arrangements.
