LaVonne Shirley Hershberger LaVonne Shirley Hershberger, 85, died Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at her home in rural International Falls. Lavonne was born on January 11, 1937, in Nimrod, MN, the daughter of Shubert and Dorthy (Quaintance) Wilcox. She was united in marriage to Norman Hershberger. This union was blessed with three sons and two daughters. LaVonne enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, reading, fishing, giving to charities, doing crafts of all kinds, and laughing. She was very religious and had a deep faith in the Lord. Lavonne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman; and brothers, Erwin and Darrel Wilcox. Lavonne is survived by her children: Todd Hershberger, Norm Hershberger, Joel Hershberger, Dori Gregory, and Vonnette Mills; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her sister Ladonna Hansen. A celebration of life will be held on September 10, 2022, at the Wanita Wilkie Farm. Inurnment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
