Dallas House Obituary

Dallas F. House Mr. Dallas F. House, 84, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery. Dallas, a native of Pitt County served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He then returned to Greenville where he was self employed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Cherry House; son, Carey House; brothers, Jack and Pete House; and sister, Marie Everette. He is survived by his two daughters, Carol Colie, of Greenville, and Jackie Hall, of Ayden; five grandchildren, Victor Wilson and wife, Stephanie, of Chocowinity, Marcus House, of Greenville, Scott House, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Rickey Winebarger and wife, Teresa, of Edenton, and Denine Hardee and husband, Ervin, of Greenville; six great-grandchildren, Brandon and Jennifer House, Michael and Matthew Winebarger, and Savanna and Loren Hardee; and two brothers, Billy House, of Hampton, Va., and Leslie House and wife, Jean, of Washington, N.C. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Wilkerson Funeral Home and Crematory.
