Henry Cooper Obituary

BELHAVEN - Mr. Henry L. Cooper, 45, of Hwy. 264 East, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006 at Pungo District Hospital, Belhaven. Service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Mitchell's Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville with Elder Ubzell Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Homestead Memorial Gardens, Greenville. Mr. Henry Cooper was a native of Swan Quarter where he attended the county schools and later became gainfully employed in the field of construction. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Linda Blount Cooper of Grimesland; mother, Mrs. Mary B. Cooper of Simpson; two sons, Henry L. Cooper Jr. and Jametrius Cooper, both of Grimesland; four sisters, Brenda Jones of Simpson, Carolyn Daniels and husband, Anthony, of Grimesland, Debra Williams of Engelhard, and Arlene Carmon and husband, Jeffery, of Black Jack; four brothers, Anthony Cooper and wife, Janice, of Alabama, James Cooper of Germany, Thomas "T.R." Cooper of Greenville, and Linwood Blount of Engelhard; mother-in-law, Victoria Blount and father-in-law, Lawrence Blount, both of Swan Quarter; and a number of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be a walk-through viewing at noon until 1 on Wednesday, one hour before the service. Professional arrangements provided by Mitchell's Funeral Home of Greenville.
