I.C. Wilson

BELVOIR - Mr. I.C. Wilson, 80, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday at 3 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Wilson grew up in Wilmington, moved to Pitt County in the early 1940s and was employed by Carolina Dairies for 20 years. In 1962 he began working with Hart's Cotton Mill in Tarboro, and later went to Fieldcrest Mills in 1970. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Clark Wilson; a son, Charles Wilson and brothers, Alton, Billy and Bobby Wilson. He is survived by sons, Clifton Wilson and wife, Brenda, of Grimesland and Donny Wilson and wife, Cathy, of Belvoir; brother, William "Dick" Wilson of Winterville; grandchildren, Gloria Wilson of Grimesland, Clifton Wilson II and wife, Sandy, of Belvoir, Amanda Wilson of Silverdale, Wash., Jessica Wilson and Christopher Wilson both of Belvoir; five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
