One of our favorite memories of Joyce was the year she and Aunt Audrey (Swinford) went with us to Washington D.C. for our cousin Earl Hunsley and Gloria Knudsen's wedding in March of 1992. We got Aunt Audrey in Indianapolis and drove to Charleston, West Virginia to Joyce's house, spent the night there, and then the four of us drove to Washington D.C. the next day. Aunt Audrey and Joyce chattered like magpies in the backseat the entire trip! It was so much fun to hear the tales they reminisced over from years gone by.

Karen, Nancy, and Judy,
It was such a blessing to read your mom´s obituary; while I did not know her well, I grew to know her through that. I have memories of attending an Eklund reunion in St. Joseph several years ago and the Christmas letters that came every year.
An unknown author penned the following words:
Death can hide but not divide;
Thou art but on Christ´s other side;
Thou art with Christ and Christ with me,
United still in Christ are we.
Psalm 115:16; 48:14; 16:11; 17:15;
73:24-26
Lovingly,
Sharmon (Ferrell) Greene

Karen, Nancy, and Judy -
Our sincerest sympathies to you in your mother's homecoming, but it truly is a celebration of her life. She was everything you described in the obituary. She was a blessing to my mom (her sister in law) in her days of battling dementia and also giving godly counsel to my sister in her time of need.
I have fond memories of family reunions in Charleston and St. Joseph, and our most recent ones in Greenville. May your memories of your mother bring joy to your hearts all your days.
